Course Overview:
This course aims to provide an understanding of the basic concepts and components of a computer system. The course will cover various topics, including the history and generations of computers, hardware, software, programming languages, networking, and the internet. Additionally, learners will be familiarized with the concepts of multimedia and computer security.

- Definition of Hardware
- Input Unit: Keyboard, Mouse, Scanner, etc.
- CPU: Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU), Control Unit (CU), Memory Unit (MU)
- Output Unit: Monitor, Printer, etc.
- Storage Devices: Primary & Auxiliary Memory (Floppy Disk, Hard Disk, Compact Disk, DVD, Flash Disk, etc.)
- Others: Network Card, Modem, Sound Card, etc.

- Definition & types of Software
- Programming Language

Computer Security
- Setting & Protection of Computer Room and Computer
- Concept of Computer-related threats (virus, worms, Trojan, phishing, etc.), remedies, and protection
